Dr. Elizabeth Birger Assistant Music Director for Max Haverfield & Friends & the Dickens Carolers
As Assistant Music Director, Elizabeth works alongside Max and the musical team, bringing her extensive experience as a performer, educator, and musical director to both Max Haverfield & Friends and the Dickens Carolers.
Based in Kansas City, Elizabeth is an accomplished soprano who maintains a busy career as a singer, actor, voice teacher, musical director, and presenter both locally and across the country. As an active performer, she has appeared regionally and internationally in operas, recitals, oratorios, and Broadway revues.
Elizabeth performs with several professional ensembles, including Trio Forte, an ensemble she helped found. She also regularly collaborates with living composers, performing new works and helping bring greater awareness to new music. Along with maintaining an active performance schedule, Elizabeth is a dedicated educator with a private voice studio based out of Kansas City with students from around the world. She is also sought after as a clinician, adjudicator, and master class presenter.
Her extensive education reflects that same dedication to both performance and teaching. Elizabeth earned degrees in education and performance from Wichita State University and Florida State University and received her doctorate in performance and pedagogy from the University of Mississippi.

Lenora Remmert Executive Assistant
Lenora Remmert brings a unique combination of organizational expertise, musical experience, and longtime collaboration to her role as Executive Assistant to Max Haverfield. An invaluable part of the team, Lenora assists with the many details that keep Haverfield Productions moving forward, from day-to-day office needs and scheduling to coordinating projects, performances, and special events.
What makes Lenora’s role especially unique is the musical knowledge she brings to the table. A professional pianist and music teacher who has spent her career in the Kansas City music community, Lenora has performed alongside Max and many of his fellow musicians for years. Her understanding of music and live performance allows her to contribute to show planning, music selection, and the countless details that help bring Max’s ideas to the stage.
Behind the scenes or behind the piano, Lenora’s versatility, experience, and willingness to tackle just about anything make her an invaluable member of the Haverfield Productions team.
When she isn’t keeping things organized or making music, Lenora enjoys spending time at the lake, traveling, and spending time with family and friends including her husband, Ken, whom audiences may recognize behind the drums in many Max Haverfield & Friends performances.
Haverfield Ranch
Heath Haverfield Partner
Heath and Max grew up together near their family’s Russell Springs, Kansas ranch, where they developed a shared understanding of agriculture, the prairie and the land and cattle business their family has participated in for generations.
A graduate of the University of Kansas, Heath is a civil engineer and currently serves as a Senior Permitting Engineer with Excellerate, part of Faith Technologies. His professional background also includes work with the Kansas Department of Transportation. He also served as a Data Assistant for Defenders of Wildlife, a longtime partner in the Haverfield family’s work to preserve native prairie habitat and restore endangered black-footed ferrets to the ranch.
Heath works alongside Max in evaluating major decisions and long-term planning. His experience in engineering, leadership and corporate life brings a valuable perspective as the company works to grow the ranch.
Ford Kemp Ranch Foreman
Foard Kemp serves as foreman of Haverfield Ranch and is responsible for much of the operation’s day-to-day and on-the-ground management. He helps carry out the ranch’s livestock and land-management plans, overseeing cattle care, grazing, seasonal ranch work and the upkeep of the property and equipment. His good judgment and steady presence help keep the operation running smoothly throughout the year.
Foard is also a cattleman in his own right. In addition to his work at Haverfield Ranch, he owns and manages a herd of cattle and raises and sells horses. That independent experience gives him a personal understanding of the responsibility involved in caring for livestock and making sound management decisions.
