The Dickens Carolers are Kansas City’s premier professional Christmas caroling company. After more than 40 years leading Kansas City’s Dickens Carolers—alongside his work at the Chestnut Fine Arts Center—Brad Zimmerman has retired from the caroling business. As of January 5, 2026, ownership of The Dickens Carolers has transitioned to Max Haverfield.
Max looks forward to continuing the tradition with our classic quartets that deliver rich, blended harmonies in Dickensian attire. Performers are drawn from the region’s finest vocal talent. The Dickens Carolers have appeared on Good Morning America, in a Hallmark movie and welcomed Sarah Ferguson Duchess of York, just to name a few.
Max is committed to continuing that same spirit, honoring the warmth, nostalgia, and partnership you’ve enjoyed for decades. We raise a glass to Brad for more than four decades of artistry and entertainment, and we celebrate this passing of the torch to Max, the next caretaker of a Kansas City holiday institution.
